AL Phesda InteractiveMelbourne — Worldwide Start a project

This Privacy Policy explains how AL Phesda Interactive (trading as AL Phesda Interactive PTY LTD, ABN 12 630 203 682) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information. It applies to alphesda.com and to enquiries, bookings, and project work we handle for clients.

We are based in Melbourne, Australia. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) where those principles apply to us.

Last updated: 1 August 2026.

Who we are

AL Phesda Interactive is a Melbourne studio that designs and builds websites, applications, CRMs, marketing systems, and security programmes for Australian and international clients.

What personal information we collect

We collect information you give us and some technical information created when you use the site.

Information you provide

  • Name, email address, phone number, and business name when you submit a contact form, client support form, or book a Discovery Session
  • Project details, budgets, and other information you include in messages or meetings
  • Billing and payment details when you engage us for paid work (processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers on this website)

Information collected automatically

  • IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP
  • Referral source and interactions used to measure site performance
  • Cookies and similar technologies used for analytics and essential site operation

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (for example health, biometric, or criminal record data) through this website. Please do not send that kind of information in forms or email unless we have agreed a secure channel for a specific engagement.

Why we collect it

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to enquiries and book Discovery Sessions
  • Provide quotes, proposals, and contracted services
  • Send invoices and process payments
  • Improve the website and understand which pages lead to enquiries
  • Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations
  • Protect the site and our systems against abuse and fraud

We do not sell personal information. We do not use contact form submissions for third-party marketing lists.

Contact forms and booking

When you submit a form on this site, we receive the fields you complete (typically name, email, phone, and message). Form delivery is handled by Resend so we can receive and reply to your message by email.

Discovery Session bookings are handled through our booking provider (Moxie). The booking tool collects the details needed to schedule the meeting. Those details are used to run the session and follow up afterwards.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site (pages viewed, traffic sources, and conversion events such as phone, email, and booking clicks). Google may process this data on servers outside Australia. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

You can limit analytics cookies through your browser settings or Google’s opt-out tools. Essential cookies required for the site to function may still be set.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed for that purpose:

  • Hosting: Vercel (site hosting and delivery)
  • Email delivery: Resend (contact form and transactional email)
  • Booking: Moxie (Discovery Session scheduling)
  • Analytics: Google Analytics
  • Payments: Stripe or other processors named on an invoice or proposal when you pay us for services

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our legal rights, safety, or property. If we engage contractors on a client project, they only receive the information needed to do their work, under confidentiality obligations.

How long we retain your data

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law.

  • Enquiry and contact form records: up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, then deleted or anonymised unless you become a client
  • Booking records: up to 12 months after the scheduled session, unless linked to an active or completed engagement
  • Analytics data: retained according to our Google Analytics retention settings, typically up to 14 months in aggregate form
  • Client project and billing records: kept for the life of the engagement and afterwards for as long as Australian tax and accounting rules require (generally up to seven years for financial records)

Where a longer legal retention period applies (for example tax invoices), that period overrides the 12-month enquiry window for those specific records only.

Where your data is stored

Our studio is in Australia. Some providers listed above store or process data in other countries (including the United States). When we use those providers, we take reasonable steps to ensure personal information is handled with comparable safeguards.

How we protect your data

We use HTTPS on this site, restrict access to business systems to people who need it, and prefer providers with industry-standard security practices. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. If you believe your information has been compromised through our systems, contact us immediately using the details below.

Data breaches

If we become aware of an eligible data breach under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, we will assess the incident and, where required, notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
  • Delete enquiry data we no longer need to keep
  • Opt out of marketing messages (we do not run bulk marketing lists from website form submissions by default)

Email connect@alphesda.com with the subject line “Privacy request”. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the OAIC.

Automated decision making

We do not use automated decision making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects about individuals who visit this website.

Children

This site and our services are aimed at businesses and adult decision makers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
